Founded in 1894, the Institute of Agricultural Technology delivers innovative, educational programs that develop career-ready graduates through intensive, practical learning and skill enhancement in agricultural, environmental, and applied technologies. Certificate programs vary from 18 to 24 months in length, are respected statewide and nationally, and several have international reputations. Classes are taught by faculty and staff in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, so students gain from the research and extension programs at MSU. 90% of our students have employment at the time of graduation and 65% go back to their home communities. They'll discover and learn about various fields through hands-on laboratory, classroom, and field experiences while living in the residence halls with other crazy smart students!
