Ferris Partnership

We are proud to partner with Ferris State University to offer our students college credit while still in high school!

Pre-Calculus – MATH 120 (3 credits) & MATH 130 (4 credits) – Junior or Senior Year

• By completing Honors Algebra 2 with a C or higher each trimester, you automatically qualify for Ferris Pre-Calculus, but must meet the GPA requirement of 2.5
• Taking Ferris Pre-Calculus gives you an opportunity to earn up to 7 transferable college credits, provided you earn a C- or higher
• The district covers up to $430/course, so the approximate out of pocket cost to you will be ~$80
• Mrs. Felcyn will be coming into your classroom to help you apply to Ferris
  • You will need your Social Security Number to complete this process
• We will assist you with course registration, sending your final transcripts, etc.
• You will be responsible for maintaining your MyFSU account, research and ensure transferability of credits, confirming that your Ferris transcript is received at your college, etc.

 
English – ENGL 150 (3 credits) – Senior Year

• Taking Ferris English gives you an opportunity to earn 3 transferable college credits, provided you earn a C- or higher
• Because the district covers up to $430/course, there will be no out of pocket cost
• Mrs. Felcyn will be coming into your classroom to help you apply to Ferris
  • You will need your Social Security Number to complete this process
• We will assist you with course registration, sending your final transcripts, etc.
• You will be responsible for maintaining your MyFSU account, research and ensure transferability of credits, confirming that your Ferris transcript is received at your college, etc.
