An exciting Adulting 101 series is being offered for high school youth to help prepare them for life on their own. Different session topics will be offered Wednesdays in May starting at 4pm. Each session will last approximately an hour.
May 5 - Resume Writing - join us for a presentation that includes basics of resume writing. Topics include: formatting styles, how to catch an employers eye, what not to include and writing tips and tools. May 12 - Public Speaking - this workshop helps participants learn the best practices of public speaking. May 19 - Living on your own - the informed renter: identify benefits and negatives of renting vs. buying a home and affordability. This series is free.
